I hear about socialposter and socialmarker. I think that onlywire have some of them. What do you think about that and about these websites.

This is content syndication and not spamming. So either you get ranking benefits or no benefits at all. But you won’t get penalized. That’s for sure. In my experience, I’ve seen the syndicated posts gets picked up in Google so I find it works fine — especially since its all automated.

I thought Google was also looking at timestamp of postings to detect spamming. But then again Google should not be able to punish you for this as a competitor would then also be able to do this and hurt your rankings. Any ideas on this matter?

I already have an account with Ping.fm, but I had never heard about HootDuite.

It used to be an option in Ping.FM’s list of sites. But I just checked and they seem to have removed it.
