My friends find it strange that I don’t have a TV in my apartment. Well to be exact, I deliberately neglected to install a TV antenna or satellite TV in my apartment. As a result – I don’t get my TV entertainment and news the way other people do.

The reason is that I want to be in control of what I watch and I absolutely refuse to be exposed to any form of advertising. I actually get a LOT of video content (including movies, TV Shows like “Heroes” and other content) which I view on my iPod or on my 92 inch HD projector screen. In my opinion I get better quality content on my terms. Meaning, I get what I want, when I want and without the advertising.

I’ll demo my home entertainment system setup on later posts. Today, I wanted to share a video I made about two sources where I get all my video and music content online.

Enjoy…

Hi Brian,
Watched your video on the iPod accessories – very neat.
Have a question for you about the motorola bluetooth adaptor – can you connect other devices via that adaptor to your iPod? SAy I want to connect my cell phone to the iPod via that bluetooth adaptor – will it work?
Thanks
James

Good question. I’ve not tried to connect it with other devices. But I don’t think it will because its not a universal bluetooth adapter.

To detect the headphones, the detection method can only be done with the music and video app. Meaning you need to press “pause” on the song or video to enable it to detect the headphones. I think it won’t connect with other devices.
