Want Invites for Google Wave?
Posted on 24. Nov, 2009 by Brian Wong in Social Media
I have received some invitations to use Google Wave. Its really an awesome communication tool. Maybe a bit ahead of its time but its definitely something that we will evolve to using at some point as our default communication tool.
I would love to send you an invite but I only have limited invites. And only if you have a good use for it. No point for it to just be left idle. Right?
So, if you would like an invite to use Google Wave, please leave a comment here about why you want it and how you can make productive use with it. Cool? :)
If you need to know what Google Wave is, here’s some info:

Also, when you register to comment, use your Gmail address so I can send you the invite :)

Dear Brian,
I would like to ask you for a google Wave invite, i am working as a grafic designer in the netherlands, and in our company many people are working with google wave, but no one has the privilege of sending invites, so if i could receive an invite it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

I would love an invite to Google Wave to help me stay in touch with people from work and school. I am a student and also involved in a few nonprofits in DC. I have a lot of contacts to juggle and would love to try it out!

Hi Brian! :)
Can I get an invite? I heard from Howie Schwartz's ebook that it's gonna be the number 1 social tool and it will beat Facebook. lol. And well, I found out it can be a great tool for marketers so I hope to check and try it out.

Ok, invites submitted. Only 5 more left. Bear in mind it may not be instant. This is the message from Google:
=================
“Google Wave is more fun when you have others to wave with, so please nominate people you would like to add. Keep in mind that this is a preview so it could be a bit rocky at times.
Invitations will not be sent immediately. We have a lot of stamps to lick.
Happy waving! “

Hi Brian,
I am from Germany and try to get an invitation to test and report about google wave. I am working in Germany on smaller test-programs on my own, so I like new ideas very much to gain some impressions. I would love to get an invitation to improve my own open source work and my skills – also I would report my experiences to other people to help them finding right desicions.
Thanks for reading
Kai

Hi Brian, and thanks for asking! Wouldn't this have been the bomb for the SGR Affiliate Bootcamp?! I can see this creating a whole new dimension to Master Mind Alliances, using this new tool to discuss goals, test out marketing tools & techniques, develop joint ventures, collaborate on MSI's, you name it. This is a perfect complement to our new Thrillionaires Community ( http://budurl.com/Thrillionaire ) and I would be pleased to introduce it to our founder, Nik Halik, to bring a truly interactive experience to the network.
Congrats again on your wee bairn! We've come a long way, baby!!
Lots of love to you & yours from me & mine :o)

I am working at a legal department in austria. We are a young team of 6 laywers. Permanent conacts are important for our success (at least we are freshman/wifes). It would be a great honor if you give us the possibilty to use google wave for optimizing our workflow.

LOVE an invite!! Very interested as it's billed as 'what email would be if it were designed today'. So interested in how we can continue to push what's possible with virtual collaboration, which ultimately is an exercise in personal freedom and the ability to live any life you can dream.
thanks in advance!

That's what Google Wave is designed for – collaborative communication! Hopefully, they will open it up soon to all.
