Funnel Visualization with Google Analytics

One of my favorite features of Internet marketing is the ability to get really good quality traffic data for analysis. Because the process flow of every sale (or non-sale) happens online, you can track it.

One of my favorite tools for tracking the conversions of my squeeze pages and sales pages is Google Analytics. To be precise, I like using the “Funnel Visualization” filter. It allows you to visually see how many people enter your landing page for example, and you can know where they come from. See the diagram below as an example. You can see if they take action to move onto the next page or exit the page. If they exit, you know where they go to as well. The best part is, its FREE!

This tool really allows you to analyze your site and make improvements if necessary. To learn more about setting up Goal Settings in your Google Analytics, use this link: Setting Up Goals in Google Analytics
