Met Mark Joyner This Week…

This week, I had the opportunity to meet some marketing legends like Mark Joyner and Anik Singal and a lot of successful Asian marketers like Stuart Tan, Ewen Chia, Edmund Loh, Vince Tan, Gobala Krishnan and Patric Chan just to name a few.

Just Google any of these names and you will see that they are extremely successful marketers in their own right.

This networking event was organized by the ever brilliant team at MindValley Labs headed by Vishen Lakhiani and Mike Reining.

I really had a great time and it felt really good to meet fellow marketers in person. We hardly had time to eat as there were so many interesting people to talk to.

I did get a strong sense of the word “mastermind” group. With so much common interests and yet diverse range of expertise in the room, we really learned a lot from each other and possibly created the seeds of major collaborations in the not too distant future.

My Dream Home - A Work in Progress [Pics]

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to visit the workshop of the contractor who is building the interior structures of my apartment. I was so amazed at the size of his production facility that I just had to blog about it.

For those of you who do not know, I’m in the process of renovating my penthouse apartment. This is what it looks like now:

This is what its suppose to look like when its done:

So we went down to Sg Bulloh to visit my contractor’s furniture factory. Here’s how large the factory is:

This is the jobs in progress list on their whiteboard. My apartment is project number #301 for them!

We’ll be moving in on 1 December this year. So wait for the next blog update for a full tour. :)

My Day Off - Advance Driving Course [Vid & Pic]

What do affiliate marketer’s do on their weekends? Well this weekend I joined an Advance Driving Course for Lotus car owners.

It was a lot of fun. Skill sets we learned include oversteering and understeering techniques, handbrake turns for 180 degree spins and heel & toe turns to corner without slowing down.

The Lotus Elise is a one of a kind vehicle because of its amazing engineering. With the entire car weighing less than 1,980 pounds, you can really get some great tail-spins and drifting action going.

All in all it was an awesome day and we ended up a little sun-burned because it was such a beautiful sunny day. I was really impressed with the new design of the Lotus Elise Mach 2 in hot red and am thinking about getting it.

What do you think? Do you prefer the silver or red finish? Leave a comment if you care to share.

My Cool Kitchen System [video]

I have a confession to make. I just don’t have a lot of time to create a nice post this week. And I did promise myself that I would try my best to make at least one post per week.

My excuse? Well, I’ve been very busy with my investment properties this week. I just got the keys to two units that I bought over the last few years. It only took 1 week to get the first one rented out (very happy about that) and I’m busy fitting out the office property I bought so I can rent it out too.

But, what’s taking up most of my time is pimping out my own apartment that I am moving into this year. I posted the view from the apartment on the comments to a previous post.

If you missed it, here is the video again:

So to fill in for this week, I thought I’d share with you one of the many “cool” features of my new apartment. It’s called “Servo-Drive”. I’ll let the video to the explaining for me:

Don’t forget to let me know what you think. :)
