Ok, I Confess! I’m an Apple Fanboy

There’s a lot we can learn from Apple. Customers of Apple are not like customers of other brands. They are more like rabid fans. I confess, I’m one of them.

The “customer experience” created by Apple is by far one of the best I have ever experienced. And I live in Malaysia - half way around the globe from the Apple HQ. There’s no question that the driving force for all this is Steve Jobs.

So when I found this short video clip with some great advice from Steve Jobs, I just had to share it here. One of the best advice in this video is when Steve says one of the worst experiences he’s had in his life worked out to be one of the best things that ever happened to him.

I think this is true of life. Sometimes the most trying of circumstances contain seeds for something much greater. You just need to have the awareness to look for the good in these experiences.

My favorite quote from Steve Jobs is “Customers don’t know what they want until we show it to them”. Just awesome! :)

How to Pitch to a Venture Capitalist for Money

I was very fortunate, when I was in my twenties, to be a part of a team that raised over $5 million in VC funding for our technology company. This experience allowed me to believe in that moment that anything in business is possible and within my means. It was one of my first great mindset breakthroughs that made all the difference for me as an entrepreneur.

Do you need a massive breakthrough in your business? I think you will find this video helpful.
